25 Photographs
Exhibition: Pioneer Works, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Public Photography Project
25 photographs was a public project where 123 participants, myself included, interpreted a list of 25 things in their own way.
It allowed me to explore an alternative creative output.

The Physical Exhibition.
Exploring the theme of absence of presence through a black and white monochromatic lens allowed all elements of human emotion to be removed, thus making the body of images cold and empty in an attempt to capture the lonely winter within a large city, which was inspired by my own personal experience of moving from a countryside village to a city alone. Winter has never felt colder. The slight disorientation of that time is represented through the use of textured grain in the imagery.
